Review: Oriflame Eyebrow Kit

Hello loves, 
 Today I'm back with my thoughts on the eyebrow kit from Oriflame. I heard great things about it and I really needed a new help for my sparce eyebrows. I just finished my eyebrow kit from ELF and I liked it but I wanted to try something new. I already knew that I'm not so fond of pencil liners for my eyebrows because I had one from Essence and I didn't like it very much, it just stands there in my makeup case. I am a wax and powder girl when it comes to my brows. Enough with the rambling and let me show you the actual product from Oriflame. 

Astazi m-am intors cu un nou review si de data aceasta va voi impartasi impresiile mele legate de kitul pentru sprancene de la Oriflame. Mi l-am dorit de foarte mult timp, iar cei de la Oriflame nu l-au mai adaugat de ceva timp in catalog, asa ca atunci cand am vazut ca in sfarsit a aparut si era si la reducere, nu m-am putut abtine. Eu l-am cumparat cu aprox. 23 RON. Imi doream foarte mult acest produs pentru ca voiam o schimbare, desi mi-a placut foarte mult kitul pe care l-am avut pana acum de la ELF. Ma gandeam ca poate sunt alte produse mult mai bune decat acesta si ca nu ar trebui sa ma incapatanez sa il folosesc doar pe acela. Deja stiam ca nu ma impac foarte bine cu creioanele pentru sprancene pentru ca am avut unul de le Essence si nu l-am folosit decat de vreo 2-3 ori si nu mi-a placut, sta si acum in cutiuta cu machiaje cumintel :)) Mi-am dat seama ca prefer efectul oferit de ceara si fard pentru umplerea sprancenelor. Cam aceasta este povestea, acum sa trecem la produsul in sine.

 The kit has 2 shades of powder shadows, a light and a dark brown, and a clear wax. I thought that I would love the fact that the wax is clear but I find myself enjoying much better the wax from the ELF kit, which is a dark brown. Also, this kit comes with two small angled eyeshadow brushes but I can't really use them, they aren't exactly the best ... Instead I use my own brushes to apply this product and it works well.

Acest kit are 2 nuante de fard, un maro mai deschis si unul mai inchis. De asemenea, in acest kit veti gasi si o ceara transparenta, pe care ma gandeam ca o sa o indragesc foarte mult. Totusi, mi-am dat seama ca o prefer pe cea de la Elf, care este un maro inchis. Kitul mai are si doua pensulici pentru aplicarea fardului dar eu nu le pot folosi, mi se pare ca refuza sa ia produs pe ele, pur si simplu fardul zboara si din ele pana ajunge pe spranceana, nu stiu cum sa explic altfel ... Prefer sa folosesc pensulele cu care m-am obisnuit.

 In terms of longevity, the product stays on all day without a problem. The shadows aren't powdery at all and I have to say that the shades are exactly what I expected. The one thing I didn't like about the ELF kit was that the shadows had a slight reddish undertone to them. I have very dark eyebrows, I'd say they are quite black and I wanted a very dark brown shadow to fill them in and the Oriflame kit it's lovely in this sense.


Daca vorbim de rezistenta, produsul acesta rezista cu brio toata ziua. Fardurile nu sunt deloc prafoase si sunt foarte pigmentate si trebuie sa recunosc ca nuanta lor este exact cum mi-o doream. Singurul defect al kitului de la ELF era ca fardul avea o culoare de maro-rosiatic si daca nu aveam grija se vedea destul de fals cand il aplicam. Eu am sprancenele foarte inchise la culoare si imi doream un fard maro foarte foarte inchis, iar cel din kitul de la Oriflame este perfect.


Would I repurchase this product? Probably no, I think I like the ELF kit better because of the colored wax.

In concluzie, as recumpara acest produs? Ar fi ideal daca as avea si kitul de la ELF pentru a folosi ceara din el si fardurile din cel de la Oriflame... Probabil ca asa o sa si fac ...

 Inside you will find three shades of lipsticks : Naughty, Candy and Vampire

Cele trei nuante de ruj sunt Naughty, Candy si Vampire

 

 As you can see from the swatches, they are very pigmented and true to color. They have a rather shinny finish but what I like to do with this lipsticks is to take a napkin and pat it on my lips which makes it very matte and long-lasting. Speaking of longevity, they are quite good because they last up to 6 hours, especially if you do the trick with the napkin or you apply a little bit of powder on top of them. 

 Dupa cum puteti vedea din swatch-uri, aceste rujuri sunt foarte pigmentate. Au un finish destul de stralucitor, dar ceea ce imi place mie sa fac este sa le aplic, iar apoi iau un servetel si sa imi tapotez putin buzele. Astfel, rujul devine mat si mult mai rezistent. Fac acest lucru pentru ca mie imi place aspectul mat la un ruj, dar daca voua va place sa fie mai stralucitor sau daca obisnuiti sa va dati si cu luciu peste ruj, cu acesta nu o sa mai aveti nevoie pentru ca este deja destul de shinny. Ca am vorbit de rezistenta, acest ruj este destul de bun in aceasta privinta, rezistand pana la 6 ore, mai ales faca faceti trucul cu servetelul sau va dati cu putina pudra peste el.

Naughty

Naughty is a reddish coral lipstick, it's very creamy and easy to apply. I didn't have a color like this in my collection but I have to say that ME LIKE IT :D

Este un rosu-corai, se aplica foarte usor si este foarte cremos. Nu am mai avut o astfel de nuanta pana acum, dar chiar imi place.

 Vampire

Vampire is a lipstick I already had in my collection but I loved it so badly that I wanted to have a back-up in case Beauty UK decides to discontinue it (GOD FORBIDS). It's a blue-toned lipstick which will make your teeth very white, it's extremely long-lasting and I just love itttt!!!!

Vampire este o nuanta pe care o aveam deja in colectie, dar nu strica sa am doua in caz ca Beauty UK se va decide vreodata sa nu le mai comercializeze (DOAMNE FERESTE!). Este un ruj rosu cu subtonuri de albastru ce o sa va faca dintii foarte albi. De asemenea, este extrem de rezistent si pur si simplu il iubesc, este rujul meu rosu preferat!!!! Daca ar fi sa va recomand o singura nuanta din acestea trei, pe acesta vi l-as recomanda cu toata increderea.

 Candy

Candy is a color which is pretty hard to pull off, I have to combine it with other colors to make it more wearable and I have to say that, out of all the three lipsticks, this one is quite drying on the lips but nothing too extreme. 

Candy este o culoare destul de greu de purtat, de fiecare data cand vreau sa port acest ruj il conmbin cu alte nuante pentru a-l face mai putin strident, in special pe timpul zilei. De asemenea, din cele trei rujuri, acesta accentueaza zonele uscate ale buzelor. Dar daca va hidratati bine buzele si va plac nuantele de roz, cu siguranta o sa va placa acest ruj. Eu in aceasta perioada tind sa oscilez catre alte nuante de ruj, dar probabil o sa vina si perioada cand o sa port numai roz, in special vara.

REVIEW: Essence 16h 'STAYS NO MATTER WHAT' waterproof liquid eyeliner

I am finally backkkk with a new blog post and today I want to do a review on a product from Essence: their waterproof liquid eyeliner. I was on the search for the perfect gel or liquid eyeliner for as long as I can remember because I need my eyeliner to be :

1. Super long lasting because I have kind of a hooded-eye and most eyeliners smudge on my upper lid.

2. Preferably matte, because I enjoy the effect it gives and I find that the matte ones are more long-lasting (although that means that they are harder to remove, you need a very good makeup remover).

I gravitated towards Essence because my last liquid eyeliner was from them and I liked it very muchhhhh. I looked online, I almost bought the ELF gel eyeliner and the liquid liner from Kallos but I hesitated and finally got the Essence one, thinking that I will like it for sure.

The packaging looks different but I believe it's the same line, because I find the product inside very similar with the one I had before.

M-am intorssss dupa o perioada destul de lunga si m-am gandit ca in postarea de astazi sa fac un review al unui produs Essence: tusul lor rezistent la apa. Eram de ceva timp in cautarea tusului perfect, pentru ca nu reuseam sa gasesc ceva care sa aiba 2 caracteristici extrem de importante pentru mine:

1. sa fie foarte rezistent pentru ca eu am pleoapa putin picata si multe tusuri mi se intind pe pleoapa mobila si se vede foarte urat.

2. prefer tusurile mate pentru ca imi place cum se vede si pentru ca mi se pare ca acestea sunt mai rezistente (desi acest lucru inseamna, de obicei, ca sunt mai greu de demachiat, trebuie insistat destul de mult pe demachierea ochilor cand se foloseste un tus mat). 

Ma gandeam sa imi cumpar unul de la Essence pentru ca am mai avut un tus de la ei care mi-a placut foarte mult. Am cautat pe site-uri, aproape mi-am cumparat tusul gel de la ELF si tusul lichid de la Kallos, dar intr-un final tot unul de la Essence mi-am achizitionat, gandindu-ma ca sigur va fi pe placul meu.

Desi ambalajul difera, cred ca este acelasi produs sau aceeasi gama cu tusul pe care l-am avut inainte. Probabil au pastrat formula produsului dar i-au schimbat ambalajul.

Packaging  / Ambalajul

DANNNNG, I don't think that the packaging could be worse that this. How should I put this so that I make myself clear.
When I try to pull out the eyeliner's wand I always end up with product all over my hands because the wand doesn't want to come out unless I pull very hard and the unfortunate happens all the freaking timeeeeee!!!!



Dumnezeule mareeeeee, nu cred ca puteau alege un ambalaj mai oribil ca acesta. Cand incerc sa scot periuta afara trebuia sa trag foarte tare de ea pentru ca nu iese altfel si, cand intr-un final reusesc sa o scot, mi se imprastie tusul pe maini si pe peste tot. Tot timpul patesc la fel, nu pot sa inteleg cum au gandit-o de au realizat un astfel de ambalaj, dar il urasccccccc!!!!

Wand / Periuta

I thought that the wand from my previous eyeliner was bad... in this case it's not exactly worse but there is definitely room for improvement. It's so freaking long, it's almost impossible to draw a wing with it. With my last eyeliner the wand was too thick, now it's too long...
But on the bright side, I find that this particular kind of wand makes it quicker to draw a thin, precise line on the rest of the eye but I love some dramatic wings and this product makes things harder for me :(

Chiar ma gandeam ca periuta tusului celalalt de la Essence era cam dubioasa ... Nici aceasta nu ma da pe spate. Nu este mai rea, dar nici nu e o imbunatatire vizibila. Este extrem de lunga, are niste perisori de nu se mai termina, mi-e aproape imposibil sa faca o codita decenta cu el, mereu imi iese prea lunga sau prea groasa ... Pensulica celuilalt tus era prea groasa, aceasta este prea lunga ... SUPER !!!
Totusi, am observat la aceasta periuta ca este buna pentru aplicarea tusului pe linia genelor, chiar face trasarea liniei mai rapida si mai precisa. Dar mie imi place sa imi fac codita la ochi, nu prea ma dau cu tus doar pe linia genelor, iar tusul acesta nu ma ajuta deloc in acest sens :(

Quality / Calitate

The line made with this eyeliner starts to crack almost immediately after I apply it, especially in the inner part of the eye. I gave it three points because it is very matte and I like this effect, but why does it have to crackkkkkkkk??? I would have forgotten all about its negative parts if the line was perfect and matte ... You can see in these photos how it cracks in the inner part of the eye. Also, by the end of the day you it started to crack in other parts too.

Linia trasata cu acest tus incepe sa crape aproape imediat dupa aplicare, in special in jumatatea interna a ochiului. I-am dat totusi 3 puncte pentru ca finish-ul acestui tus este unul mat, ceea ce imi place foarte mult, dar de ce trebuie sa crapeeee??? :( As fi ignorat orice aspect negativ al acestui tus daca nu ar crapa, se vede foarte inestetic... Puteti vedea din poze ce urat se vede... De asemenea, pana la sfarsitul zilei am vazut ca incepuse sa crape si in alte parti.

Longevity / Rezistenta

In terms of longevity it's very good, just like my last Essence eyeliner. It doesn't smudge all day long, it's perfect in this regard. You can see in this video that, although I rub it very harshly with my finger, it doesn't move a bit. LOVE THAT <3 And you can see from the photo below that after 10 hours, the eyeliner did not smudge on my upper lid which is my pet peeve, I absolutely HATE when that happens. I strongly believe that this product would 'stay no matter what' even for 16 hours as it claims in the title.

Rezistenta tusului este foarte buna, in aceasta privinta seamana cu celalalt tus de la Essence pe care l-am avut. Nu se intinde deloc toata ziua, este perfect in aceasta privinta. Puteti vedea in videoclipul pe care l-am postat mai sus ca , desi dau cu degetul foarte tare peste tus, acesta nu se sterge deloc. IUBESCCC treaba asta. Puteti vedea si din poza ca dupa aproape 10 ore, tusul nu s-a miscat deloc si nu s-a intins pe pleoapa superioara. Urasc cand mi se transfera tusul pe pleoapa, am mai patit asa cu tusul de la ELF de exemplu care se cam intindea dupa cateva ore. Chiar cred ca tusul acesta rezista cu brio pana la 16 ore, asa cum spune si numele lui.

!!! As a side note, this particular matte liquid liner will make your eyes feel heavy, in the sense that when it starts to look matte on your lid, you will feel the skin on your lid very tight.. I mean you will definitely feel that you wear eyeliner. And I believe that this happens because this liquid liner is matte and it's very long lasting, which made me reconsider the aspects I look forward in a liquid liner, I think I will forget about the matte ones for a while and buy gel or other types of liners.
So if you have any suggestions for me I look forward to them !!!

!!! Un alt aspect negativ al acestul tus este ca se simte foarte greu pe pleoapa. Atunci cand incepe sa se usuce si sa arate mat veti simti cum vi se strange pielea, e o senzatie de disconfort care persista pana cand il dati jos. Am incercat intr-o seara sa ma demachiez cu un servetel umed si este un dezastru, trebuie sa insist foarte foarte mult ca sa se ia, trebuie dat jos cu un demachiant foarte bun pentru ca altfel o sa imi nenorocesc zona ochilor.  Totusi cred ca asta se intampla pentru ca este mat si pentru ca este atat de rezistent la transfer, ceea ce ma face sa nu mai imi doresc cu atatea ardoare un tus mat si o sa ma orientez catre tusurile gel sau unele cu aspect din acela mai lucios. Asa ca daca aveti sugestii pentru mine nu ezitati sa imi spuneti :D

In concluzie, as recumpara acest tus? Cu siguranta NU. Mi-ar placea sa imi spuneti daca folositi acest tus, poate aveti o alta parere despre el, sunt foarte curioasa! Cam atat pentru astazi, va pupacesc si ne revedem foarte curand !!!

MAKEUP TUTORIAL: Purple Eyes & Nude Lips

Hello babeeeeees,

It's time for a Makeup tutorial, showing you step by step what I did in order to create a very dark purple makeup. You know that I have an obsession with purple eyeshadows, I think it complements my eye-color nicely, so I felt like playing with some black and purple shadows.

Things you need:

- Scotch-tape,

- Eyeshadows: black, purple and white

- Black eye liner

-Black Mascara

Buna fetelorrrr,

A venit timpul sa va arat pas cu pas cum am realizat machiajul de astazi. Stiti ca am o obsesie cu fardurile mov pentru ca mi se pare ca merg foarte bine cu nuanta ochilor mei, asa ca o sa va arat cum m-am jucat cu aceste culori si ce mi-a iesit. 

Aveti nevoie de:

- Scotch

- Farduri: negru, mov si alb

- Creion de ochi negru

- Rimel negru

1. Apply a black shadow on your lid and blend it out using a purple shadow.

Aplicati un fard negru pe pleoapa si estompati-l folosind un fard mov si o pensula pufoasa.

2. Repeat Step 1 to intensify the colors and blend them again using a clean brush.

Repetati pasul 1 pentru a intensifica culorile si estompati-le din nou folosing o pensula curata.

3. Highlight the brow bone and the inner eye-corner using a white matte shadow.

Luminati arcada si coltul intern al ochiului folosind un fard mat alb. 

After that, you can remove the scotch tape because we are done with applying shadows on the upper lid and your makeup should look like this:

Dupa aceea puteti scoate scotch-ul pentru ca am terminat cu aplicarea fardurilor pe pleoapa superioara si ar trebui ca machiajul sa arate cam asa: 

4. Apply a black liner on your water line and smudge it on the lower lid using a purple shade. Lastly, use a black mascara or false eyelashes if you want something even more dramatic.

Aplicati creionul negru pe linia apei si aplicati un fard mov pe pleoapa inferioara. La sfarsit folositi un rimel negru sau gene false daca doriti ceva si mai dramatic.

Here are some photos with the final look. On my lips I used Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 03.

Machiajul este gata. Pe buze am folosit rujul Rimmel Lasting Finish in nuanta 03.

MY MAKEUP FOR A WEEK (7 different makeup looks)

Long time no see!! I hope you missed me :)) Today I'm back with something different, I hope you'll like my idea. I thought that it would be fun to show you what makeup looks I wear throughout a whole week. Let me know which one you like the most and let's start with Monday's makeup look !!

Nu am mai postat de ceva timp, sper ca v-a fost dor de mine :)) Astazi m-am intors cu ceva diferit, cel putin pe blogul meu, nu stiu daca s-au mai gandit si alte fete la asta si sper sa va placa ideea mea. M-am gandit ca ar fi distractiv sa va arat ce machiaj port eu in fiecare zi, timp de o saptamana. Sa imi spuneti care machiaj va place mai mult si hai sa incepe cu machiajul pe care l-am purtat luni!!

Monday/ Luni

I was pretty well-behaved that day, I only wore some mascara, foundation, bronzer and a pinky-nude lipgloss. Nothing special, I was going to school that day.

Am fost destul de cumintica in acea zi, m-am dat doar cu rimel, fond de ten, bronzer si un luciu roz deschis. Nimic special pentru ca ma duceam la facultate in ziua aceea.

Tuesday/ Marti

Neutrals for Tuesday: Neutral eyes, nude lips. 

Culori pamantii pentru marti: machiaj smokey in nuante de maro si auriu si buze nude.

 

Wednesday/ Miercuri 

Pin-up look, dramatic winged eyeliner and red lips for that day. 

Miercuri am pus accent pe ochi, conturandu-i foarte intens cu tus negru, iar pentru buze am ales un rosu intens.

Thursday/ Joi

Friday/ Vineri

Friday I went to a Birthday Party and I wore a cut-crease eye makeup, false eyelashes and a wine colored lipstick.

Vineri am fost la o zi de nastere si am purtat un machiaj destul de dramatic, gene false si un ruj visiniu.

Saturday/ Sambata

On Saturday I wore a softer version of Friday's makeup, without the false eyelashes and the deep lipstick. 

Sambata am purtat o varianta mai purtabila a machiajului de vineri, renuntand la gene false si la rujul inchis la culoare.

Sunday/ Duminica

I ended my week with a soft, purple and pink eye makeup. 

In ultima zi a saptamanii am purtat un machiaj in nuante de mov si roz.
